We are a blessed group of people that includes some of the best Consignors and Volunteers who work as a team to put together a sale for those who love to pick up great deals on items they have a need for.
Without our team of Consignors and Volunteers this sale would simply never happen. We have been very blessed that 98% of our Consignors follow our strict guidelines and bring in tip-top shape items they no longer have a use for. Our team of Volunteers are some of the best around!! From our informative website to helping make sure the sale is organized and runs smoothly for all of our shoppers is just the tip of the iceberg for what they provide to us. To just say Thank You to them doesn't seem to be enough, but we do sincerely appreciate all of their hard work!!
At all our sales, our main objective is to help families snatch up great deals, while also having the opportunity to earn some extra money. Our surveys taken thus far have proven we are on the right track. Our top three responses have been that our sales are VERY ORGANIZED, CLEAN and EASY TO SHOP. We have had several individuals (Consignors and shoppers) tell us they would like more of a variety of items at these sales. As our motto says, we want these sales to be “Your Consignment Place.” To let you know that we do listen to you suggestions and comments, we have put together “The Ultimate Sale.”
We also are always very happy to help you out in any way we can. Having the best team of volunteers has enabled us to assist each and every one of our Consignors bring in their items from their car, as well as help them during pickup (rain or shine). We know how hard our Consignors work to participate in this sale, and it is just one of our many ways of saying Thank You for being such awesome Consignors, and that we are here for YOU.
We have invoked a new rule from this point on at MyConsign. We will no longer be able to take in or sell car seats. While some of you will be very disappointed in this, it is for the safety of the most precious gift we get in life, our children. Since we cannot guarantee any shopper 100% that a car seat has NEVER been involved in even a minor accident, then we feel we should not put your child at risk for the sake of making a profit. After reading our concerns, hopefully you, too, will agree that it is just not worth the risk:
- The new owner does not know the full history of the car seat. This is critical because this could mean life or death of a child.
- The seller may think that a very minor fender bender wasn't a big deal and really wasn't an accident. However, the reality of it is that ANY car seat that took took crash forces, even MINOR, which could cause a defect in the car seat and cause a complete failure in another accident (severe or non severe).
- Some (remember it only takes one) may just flat out lie on any waiver just to make a buck. It is unfortunate, but a very possible occurrence in the world we live in today.
